Meet Rick our North London Director. Rick has a long history of working in the arts, music and creative industries. After training at the Bristol Old Vic theatre, Rick became a member of Sir Peter Halls company at the Royal National Theatre and has appeared in the west end, on Television and in feature films. As an actor/musician he has played in touring theatres both in the UK and United States. He has not only managed bands but has also directed many episodes of television drama for programmes such as Eastenders, Casualty and Holby City. As a composer, he has written many songs for the theatre and is passionate about seeing the younger generation get excited about music through playing their favourite songs.
“Front Row Music offers such a unique service to schools, I desperately wanted to get involved. I love playing the piano and was inspired to learn by being able to play the songs I knew and loved. At Front Row, we handle everything for both tutors and schools and inspire thousands of young musicians. It’s so wonderful to see the children develop through music, not only as individual players but as part of the wider school society and I am both passionate and privileged to be able to help spread the word throughout North London” Rick Platt
